Is the Certified Bookkeeper Program Right for You?

At ICB Philippines, we welcome aspiring bookkeepers, career changers, professionals, and students who are passionate about building a strong foundation in financial management and professional bookkeeping.

Whether you’re just starting out or already have experience in the field, you may be eligible to join the Certified Bookkeeper (CB) Program and begin your journey toward global recognition.

 

Who Can Apply?

You are eligible to enroll in the Certified Bookkeeper Program if you meet any of the following:

  • A college or vocational student currently taking bookkeeping, accounting, business, or finance courses
  • A graduate of any business-related or finance-related program
  • A working professional in accounting, finance, or administrative roles looking to upskill or gain certification
  • An aspiring bookkeeper with basic knowledge or experience who wants formal training and recognition
  • A freelancer, entrepreneur, or small business owner handling their own finances and records

For Certification and Membership

To be awarded the Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation, you must:

  1. Complete the ICB-recognized Certified Bookkeeper Program
  2. Pass the official Level 1 certification exam
  3. Apply for ICB membership
  4. Agree to uphold the ICB Code of Ethics
  5. Maintain your membership annually through CPD and renewal
